GLASS · alpha · the latest version
Once installed, GLASS checks for updates at launch, so you only need this page for a fresh install. See what’s changed in the release notes.
Runs on
Windows
- Windows 10 21H2 or newer, 64-bit (x64)
- 8 GB of memory
- DirectX 11 graphics
macOS
- macOS 15 Sequoia or newer
- Apple silicon (M1 or newer)
- 8 GB of memory
First launch
- Install GLASS. On Windows, run the installer. SmartScreen may ask you to confirm the first time: click More info, check that the publisher reads Stephen Clarke, then click Run anyway. Stephen is the developer of GLASS and signs each release, and the warning fades as the signature earns reputation. On a Mac, open the .dmg and drag GLASS into Applications. The first time you open it, macOS asks you to confirm an app downloaded from the internet: click Open.
- Read and accept the license agreement. GLASS shows it once per computer, before it asks for your key.
- Paste your license key when GLASS asks for it. It asks once per computer and remembers the answer. Not online yet? Choose Continue without activating, and GLASS asks again next time.
- Write. GLASS checks the key quietly at launch; if it ever stops being valid you’ll see a banner, never a locked manuscript. Changing keys keeps your current one until the new one is accepted, and Release this computer in Preferences frees your key to move to another computer.
Your license key
GLASS asks for your key once per computer. Lost it? Sign in to your Creem orders with the email you used and it’s shown on your order. No longer have access to that email address? Tell us through the Help Center and we’ll sort it out from the order record.
