Comments

Leave a note anchored to a spot or a range, with a type, replies, and resolution.

  1. With a pass active, select text (or just place the cursor) and press Ctrl+Shift+M / ⌘⇧M. You can also click the speech-bubble button on the toolbar, choose Tools ▸ Comments ▸ Add Comment, or right-click and choose Add comment.
  2. In the Comments panel, pick a type (Query, Suggestion, Fix, Praise, or Note; Note is the default), write the comment, and click Comment.

Comments live in the Comments panel, sorted by position, with a body-text search and a type filter that narrows both the list and the on-page markers. Open it from its edge tab or Tools ▸ Comments ▸ Comments Panel. Click an entry to jump to it. Anyone on the pass can reply to a comment. Only its author can edit or discard it. The author or the document owner can close it with its check-mark Resolve button.
