Guide/Part Five · Save, protect, recover
Crash recovery
If GLASS closes unexpectedly, your unsaved work is waiting the next time you open it.
- On Home, look for the Recovered section above your recent files.
- Click a recovered card to restore that work, or click its ✕ to discard it (this asks to confirm).
Recovery is automatic. Autosave writes a temp copy as you work, and it survives a crash. Recovered cards name the file and when it was last edited, and restoring one re-binds it to its original file so your next save goes to the right place.
Note
GLASS never discards a recovered snapshot on a guess. The only automatic cleanup is a 90-day age prune.
