Edit Passes

An Edit Pass is a named container for a round of edits, like “Copy Edit” or “Chapters 1–5.” All your suggestions and comments live on the active pass.

1. Click the Edit Passes edge tab to open its panel.
2. Click + Start an edit pass, type a Pass name, and click Create. The new pass becomes the active pass, highlighted in the list.

The pass selector at the start of the toolbar shows the active pass. Use it to switch passes, or choose Create new to start another.
