Goals, sprints & calendar
The Productivity drawer keeps your momentum with a daily word-count goal, a sprint timer, and a writing calendar.
- Open the Productivity drawer (Ctrl+Shift+P / ⌘⇧P).
- Set a daily goal; the emerald progress bar fills as you write. When you hit it, a page flash celebrates, and New round restarts the bar for another go at the same target.
- Start a sprint timer (a configurable pomodoro), with an optional floating mini-timer if you want to always see how much time is left on the clock while you're working.
- Check 'Hemingway Mode' to disable Backspace and Delete for the duration of your sprint timer. This can be turned off at any time.
Note
The calendar and a document's statistics are scoped to that document. A new file starts with a clean slate. Your overall writing streak on Home is machine-wide and survives across documents. This is a great way to see your progress on a document, check word count per day, and whether you're setting and achieving goals.
