Merge returned edits (the owner)

Bring an editor's returned work into your document.

1. Choose File ▸ Unpack Edit Packet (or click Unpack an edit packet on Home) and pick the return .glasspack. Enter the password if it's protected.
2. The preview recognizes it as a completed review and shows the counts. Click Merge edits.
3. If GLASS can't tell which document it belongs to, pick it when asked.

The editor's suggestions, comments, and any renamed pass title arrive on the pass you sent. GLASS switches to Review Mode, makes that pass active, and opens the walkthrough so you can accept or reject. Because the return is just the edits, nothing in your manuscript changes until you accept suggestions and publish the pass. Publishing saves the result as a new version, and your earlier versions stay in place, so you can always go back to the manuscript as it was.
