The Contents panel

The Contents panel is a live outline you can click to jump anywhere in the manuscript.

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+N / ⌘⇧N (or click the left edge tab) to open Contents.
2. Click any chapter or heading to scroll there and place the cursor.

The panel also holds an Outline row at the top and a note affordance on each chapter. See Planning notes. In Review Mode the same drawer is called Navigation and is for jumping around only.
