Planning notes
Keep an outline and per-chapter beats beside the page. None of it ever appears in your manuscript, or is visible to an editor when you send them a .glasspack file for review.
- Open Contents (Ctrl+Shift+N / ⌘⇧N).
- Click the Outline row for a document-level note, or a chapter's note affordance for a per-chapter note.
- Write in the inspector that opens on the right. It's a real rich-text editor (bold, italic, color, headings, lists) and stays open while you draft.
Note
Notes travel inside the .glass file and are covered by autosave, but they never export, never print, and never count toward your word count or goals. A chapter note stays attached to its chapter through reorders and edits.
