Planning notes

Keep an outline and per-chapter beats beside the page. None of it ever appears in your manuscript, or is visible to an editor when you send them a .glasspack file for review.

1. In Draft, open Contents (Ctrl+Shift+N / ⌘⇧N).
2. Click the Outline row at the top for a document-level note. For a chapter note, hover the chapter's row and click the note button at its right end (Add chapter note). Once a chapter has a note, its button stays visible and opens it.
3. Write in the note panel that opens on the right. It's a rich-text editor with its own toolbar (bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, text color, headings, and lists), and it stays open while you draft. Close it with its ✕ or Esc.
